Prizes & Recognition There will be three winners in every state, one for each of the three grade categories . . . 4 - 6th grade, 7 - 9th grade, and 10 - 12th grade. One talented artist in grades 10-12 will be selected as the national “Best of Show” winner and will receive a $2500 tuition scholarship to attend The Art Institutes International Minnesota (Ai Minnesota). The first-runner up nationally in grades 10-12 will receive a $1,000 tuition scholarship to Ai Minnesota. Winners who attend the Expo will receive a special fishing rod & reel combo. One “gallery-quality” winner will be selected for the Art of Conservation Stamp. A National "Best of Show" award to one contestant in each age group. A "The People's Choice Award" will be selected from among all the winning entries based on votes by the public. Voting begins online at the State-Fish Art Contest fan page on Facebook and will conclude with in-person voting at the Expo. All participating students will receive a Certificate of Participation. Winning artwork will be on public display at the State Fish Art Expo. Winners will be announced on May 10 on the State-Fish Art Contest Fan Page and a day later on the State-Fish Art web site.
